Bank of Maharashtra req 650 clerks

Bank of Maharashtra published the list of applicants selected for its clerical recruitment project 2010.The vacancies advertised in the month of July 2010 was to fill 650 clerk posts.

Posts increased: The number of clerk posts was increased to 1000 from the initial 650, as per the announcement made by the bank on Dec 6, 2010. The online application process for this Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) recruitment closed on July 20, 2010.

The roll numbers, names & date of birth of over 3800 candidates` has been released as selected for Interview phase.More details on the venue, time & panel is given in the list downloadable from their website here. Interviews are scheduled to be conducted from Dec 27, 2010 to Jan 1, 2011 at various cities across India.

Selection process: Although candidates with any degree or 60% in 12th can apply, it is necessary to have scored minimum 60% marks in maths at SSC/ 10th std. exam, says the recruitment advt.So it seems that the candidates have been shortlisted based on their mathematics mark in the order of merit (high to low)

Probation: On completion of 6 months probation - a written test along with computer proficiency test will be conducted.The candidates passing these tests only, would be offered appointment in the bank & others shall not be retained.
