Projects & Development India Limited (PDIL), an ISO-9001-2008 Certified Company, is a leading Design Engineering and Consultancy organization having experience of over 40 years in Design, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Construction Supervision and Commissioning of Fertilizer & Allied Chemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas, Power, Housing/Township and Infrastructure projects.
Baroda Office of PDIL is on the look out for engaging personnel as detailed below for placement at its design office at Baroda and at different project sites on Contract basis. Accordingly, applications are invited in the attached format from the eligible candidates, who are fulfilling the below mentioned specifications :
Mech. Design .

Qualification and Experience:
Graduate degree in Mechanical Engg. and having design experience in any of the following fields in the sector of fertilizer/ chemical/ oil & gas/ power/ refinery etc. PIPING: Working knowledge in design & preparation of piping layout/ BOM/ piping & equipment modeling/ extraction of isometrics/ generation & customization of GADs in PDS extraction GA drg. & Annotation,/ support design sketch/ knowledge of relevant codes like API, ASME, EJMA, etc. PIPING STRESS ANALYSIS – Conversant with international practices/ codes & standards for process piping/ flexibility analysis of critical lines using CAESAR II / perform loading data for civil structures / static analysis of Piping system/ stress analysis of Pipe supports & rotating machineries, compressors etc. knowledge of relevant connected Codes, like, API 610, 617, 618, NEMA SM-23 etc.
Mech. Construction.

Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering and having experience in design & detailed engg. of RCC & Steel structures related to different projects. Must be conversant with softwares, like, STAADPRO, etc., and shall have working knowledge of MS Excell and Autocad.

PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT: One year – extendable upto 3 years at the sole discretion of the management and subject to job requirement /satisfactory performance during the contract period.
General Instructions:
1. AGE LIMIT : Maximum 45 years as on 28/02/2011 for all categories.
2. EXPERIENCE (Post qualification): 3 years and above for all posts, as on 28/02/2011.**
Note: However, in case of Mechanical & Civil construction disciplines, persons having
relevant experience of 2 years and above may also apply which may be considered only if
sufficient valid applications are not received from candidates having 3 years of relevant
experience and above.
3. REMUNERATION: To commensurate with qualification & experience.
4. QUALIFICATION: Above qualifications should be from Govt. recognized University / Institute.
5. QUALIFYING MARKS: The minimum qualifying marks for all above qualifications are 55% for General and OBC, and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
6. Knowledge of Computer skills in the relevant areas of work is desirable.
7. Candidates belonging to reserved category much attach SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority. Please note that the candidates seeking benefits of reservation under OBC (non-creamy layer) category must submit the certificate in appropriate form with heading FORM OF CERTIFICATE TO BE PRODUCED BY OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES APPLYING FOR APPOINTMENT TO POSTS UNDER THE GOVT.OF INDIA.     Note:
    The reservation has been worked out as per State Government Guidelines taking into
    account the excess/shortfall in each category. The number of vacancies as also the number of reserved vacancies are provisional and may vary for various categories of posts. It is clarified that it may not be possible to employ physically challenged candidates in all offices/branches of the Bank and they, in case of selection, have to work in the post identified by the Bank as suitable for them.

    5) For Gr-IV : Clerks

    6-A) For Gr-IV Trained Secretaries/Assistance Secretaries of PACS
    under 80% quota 10+2 with at least 50% marks or Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline having at least 5 years experience in Cooperative Society For SC/ST/OBC and Physically Challenged candidates 5% relaxation in marks is allowed. Concession/grace of 5% marks in minimum qualification is to be extended for trained secretaries/Asstt.     BCA / B.Sc. in Computer or IT or higher qualification as specified for the post of Jr Computer Programmer (i.e : MCA / M. Sc. Copmuter or IT/ B.E or B.Tech in Computer or IT ) from University/Technical Institute recognised by State/Central Government
    For Grade-IV : Steno/Typist :
    i. 10+2 with 55% marks or Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline
    ii. Should possess a speed of 30 words in typing and 80 words in Shorthand, in both Hindi
    and English (bilingual)
    Desirable Qualification:
    Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

    Selection Procedure:
    The selection will be made based on written test and interview. The written test will be of multiple choice objective type. The examination will be on Test of Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge/Financial Awareness, Computer & Clerical Aptitude. Out of these tests listed above the composition / number of tests will depend upon the post /grade applied for. For Specialist post, examination will also contain questions related to specific specialisation. Details about the test, Sample Questions, How to mark Answers on OMR Answersheets, Time allotted etc. will be provided in the information Handout. Shorthand/Typing/Data Entry Test will be conducted only for the candidates who qualify
    in written examination. The candidates will have to appear in the written test and interview at their own expense.

    Terms of Employment:
    1. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis initially for one year only.
    2. The contract may be renewed after expiry of the contracted period subject to the
    performance of the candidate and availability of the vacancies.
    3. After the completion of 5 years of contractual period in continuity, they shall be eligible for
    regularisation subject to availability of vacancies, eligibility, suitability and satisfactory
    performance of the candidate.
    4. The service may be terminated on any of the following ground/reasons.
    i. for the reasons of unauthorised absence from duty
    ii. the work and conduct of the contractee is not found satisfactory
    iii. By giving two months notice to the Bank failing which one month salary shall be forfeited (in case of resignation by the contractee)

    2. Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered email ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.
    3. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online.
    4. Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website www.kccb.in and open the link
    ‘Recruitment’. Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled ‘KCCB,
    RECRUITMENT PROJECT – 2011′ .
    5. Take a print of the entire Recruitment Notification, including the ‘FEES PAYMENT
    CHALLAN’.
    6. Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
    7. Go to the nearest branch of either of the following Banks with the Payment Challan duly
    filled in and pay, in cash the appropriate application fee in the account number shown
    against the name of the Bank in favour of “KCCB Recruitment 2011 A/c ”.

    10. Carefully fill in the necessary details from the Fee Payment Challan in the Online
    Application Form at the appropriate places and submit the same Online.
    11. Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the Call
    Letter at the time of written test. Without counterfoil of the fee payment challan, the
    candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written test. Candidates are, therefore,
    advised to keep 3 photocopies of the fee payment challan for future use.
    12. The name of the candidate or his/ her father/ husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
