Footwear Design & Development Institute ( FDDI ) was founded in 1986 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Commerce. It is a premier design and management institutions in the world. It conducts wide range of professional programmes in the area of Retail Management, Footwear Design, Technology, Management, Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandizing, Marketing, Creative Designing & CAD/CAM and Leather Goods & Accessories Design etc. It is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

DDI invites applications for the various posts in its Chennai centre and the details are given below :

1. Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager ( Accounts & Finance )
   No. of vacancies : 2 posts
   Qualifications : Candidate should posses the degree of MBA – Finance OR the degree of M.Com / B.Com / PGD with at least 4 years of experience in keeping and maintaining the books of accounts.
2. Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager ( Training )
   No. of vacancies : 2 posts
   Qualifications : Candidate should be graduate with the relevant specialisation and experience.
3. Deputy Manager / Assistant manager ( Stores )
   No. of vacancies : 2 posts
   Qualifications : Candidate should be graduate with the relevant specialisation and experience.
4. Senior Storekeeper / Storekeeper
   No. of vacancies : 2 posts
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate and should posses experience of stores.
5. Office Assistants / Stenographers
   No. of vacancies : 3 posts
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th standard OR should posses diploma with the relevant experience.
