• NERIST Jobs 2011

  North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology ( NERIST ) was established on 4th March, 1984 by the Government of India as a project of the North Eastern Council (NEC), to provide a system of education to create technical manpower for the development of the North Eastern region of the country. It is located at Itanagar ( Arunachal Pradesh ). NERIST consists of 3 modules and these are Certificate, Diploma, and Degree modules.
  
  NERIST invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts :
  
• Registrar
  No. of posts : 1
  Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 10000/-
  Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks .
  Experience : Minimum 15 years of experience as an Assistant professor OR a comparable experience in research establishment  of higher education.
• Deputy Registrar
  No. of posts : 1
  Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 7600/-
  Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks and preference will be given to the candidates with CA/ICWA/SAS .
  Experience : Minimum 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
• Assistant Registrar

  Age : 40 years
  Qualification : Candidate should posses PG degree with at least 55% marks along with the knowledge of computer applications.
  Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience at the level of Group-B Officer in the field of administration, establishment, finance, Store & Purchase and academic offices in a Govt./Semi Govt./University.
• Medical Officer

  Age : 35 years
  Qualification : Candidate should posses MBBS degree with 1st class and candidates with higher qualification and experience will be preferred.
• Assistant Workshop Superintendent ( AWS )

  Age : 35 years
  Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in mechanical engineering.
  Experience : Minimum 1 years of practical training and 4 years of experience in workshop.
• Executive Engineer ( On deputation )

  Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/-
  Qualification : Candidate should posses degree in Civil engineering .
  Experience : Minimum 8 years of regular service as Assistant Engineer in the department of PWD/RWD/PHE/UD etc.

  Qualification : Candidate should posses Ph.D degree with 1st class class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record.
  Experience : At least 10 years of experience .
• Associate Professor

  Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
  Qualification : Candidate should posses Ph.D. degree with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent .
  Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.
• Assistant professor
  No. of posts : 13
  pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
  Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with 1st class OR B.Tech first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch. , NET/SLET/SET is compulsory.
